Job summary

Electrify is seeking a Guide Editor for The Rundown to produce video guides and tutorials. You will own edits from raw recording to final delivery, including motion graphics and audio cleanup, working with our education team on AI-focused content.

The role is remote and contract-based, starting at one to two guides per week and ramping to three to five as quality and delivery improve. You will collaborate with a global, remote team and maintain high production standards.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of educational, product‑demo, creator, SaaS, or YouTube tutorial work.
• Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro; After Effects for motion graphics.
• Experience with screen recording, product UI, and motion graphics.
• Strong pacing judgment and instructional clarity.
• Ability to manage feedback and meet delivery timelines.
• Highly collaborative, detail oriented, and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Edit for clarity: convert talking head and screen‑share into concise tutorials.
• Tighten the cut by removing dead air while preserving instructions.
• Create openings and text animations in After Effects for clarity.
• Polish color, audio, and perform final QC before export.
• Follow briefs, flag missing assets, and ensure brand consistency.
• Deliver review cuts on schedule and hand off final master files.
• Maintain organized project files with clear sequences and assets.
• Communicate progress and capacity via Slack, flag delays early.
