Job summary

SimpliCity Digital Inc. is seeking an Applied AI Engineer for a six-month project to design and build an AI-driven data pipeline.

You will read and interpret municipal content, generate metadata, and map it into structured JSON records, enabling scalable migrations for our CMS platform. The role targets an experienced engineer with strong JavaScript/Node.js skills, experience with LLMs beyond chat, and a pragmatic approach to model quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with real software, beyond just demos.

Responsibilities

• Design and build an AI and automation pipeline to read client websites, interpret and classify content.
• Generate accurate metadata and map it into structured records and JSON schemas.
• Validate output quality at scale with tooling.
• Collaborate with CTO, engineers, QA/content specialist and other team members.
