Job summary

Outlier is seeking contributors to shape the future of autonomous agents by building OpenClaw agents. This is a freelance, remote role with pay up to $50 USD per hour and weekly payments, with access to tools like GPT and Claude through Outlier.

You will join a mission-driven platform that collaborates with AI organizations to train multi-step agents. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in backend engineering or AI automation and can work in a live production environment with high attention to detail.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration.
Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation (data parsing, logic processing, and reporting).
Experience building for live, non-mocked environments and handling multi-turn system interactions.
Attention to detail and ability to provide clear, high-density technical feedback on complex system behaviors.
Nice to have: multi-stage coordination tasks experience.
Nice to have: integrating agents with live tools (Supabase, Gmail, APIs).
Nice to have: persistent state and session discovery using MEMORY.md.
Nice to have: identifying privacy leaks or prompt injections.
