Job summary

3iQ Corp. is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support month-end close by booking vendor invoices in Procurify and preparing recurring journal entries. The role requires detail orientation, organization, and the ability to work remotely in Canada.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years in accounting, understands IFRS, and is proficient with Excel and ERP systems. You will join a fast-growing fintech environment with generous vacation and a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in an accounting department with data entry focus.
• Basic understanding of IFRS accounting principles.
• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field.
• High accuracy with high volumes of transactions.
• Proficiency with Excel; comfort learning ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Book vendor invoices into Procurify accurately and timely with correct coding.
• Route invoices to managers for review and approval and follow up.
• Track outstanding invoices and approvals; escalate delays affecting month-end close.
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including depreciation/amortization.
• Maintain schedules and documentation for recurring entries per controls.
• Assist with reconciling sub-ledger activity to the general ledger.
• Respond to inquiries on invoice status, coding, and routing.
• Support data entry and month-end tasks; identify data-entry improvements.
