Job summary

Trivium Group, an Amazon-focused advertising agency, seeks an Accountant to oversee financial data, payroll, and daily entries. You will handle AP/AR, general ledger entries, and monthly reporting, contributing across the full accounting cycle.

The role offers remote work year-round, 40 hours per week, with mandatory 6:00-11:00 am PST hours. Strong English, QuickBooks, and a proactive, autonomous mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping experience for an American company is required.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable.
• Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and records.
• Data entry skills with numerical aptitude.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
• Proficient English (min. B2) and MS Office.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
• Knowledge of A2X, Amazon, Shopify, Stripe, PayPal is advantageous.
• Experience with American companies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and postings.
• Verify transactions across daybooks, ledgers, and general ledger.
• Bring books to trial balance stage.
• Maintain accurate financial records and update the general ledger.
• Reconcile entries in the accounting system.
• Maintain trial balance through ledger reconciliations.
• Assert accuracy of transactions via account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements per local laws.
• Monitor variances from budget forecasts.
• Develop and maintain chart of accounts and bookkeeping procedures.
