Job summary

Handyman Connection of Kelowna in Vernon is seeking a Remodeler to join our team. You will perform home repairs, maintenance and remodeling on job sites and bid work regularly with repeat/referral clients.

The role is suited to an independent contractor who works on your own schedule, with an average hourly rate of $35–$45 and support from our local office. You’ll serve the Kelowna area and beyond with reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• Basic handiwork in at least three listed capacities: home remodels, painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring or maintenance.
• Driver's license and insurance required.
• Tools, vehicle and references expected.

Responsibilities

• Share your expertise in home repair, maintenance and remodeling on job sites.
• Bid work regularly and produce it with ease.
• Finalize materials and quantities for projects.
• Evaluate requests, price out jobs, troubleshoot and communicate with clients.

Job Summary:

• Pass personal screening & background check
• Smart phone and Internet access

Please, no project managers or primarily new construction. Handyman Connection is strongly considering candidates with experience as a Remodeler or similar positions.
