Position : Full-time, within a fast-growing tech company

Type of work : Remote

About Sinistar :

Sinistar is a team of passionate individuals making a real difference in the lives of those affected by disasters. Our mission is to provide temporary housing solutions to people impacted by events like fires or floods. We are a dynamic and dedicated team, ready to push boundaries to truly make a difference. If you have a sharp business sense, excellent communication skills, autonomy, and a sensitivity to others' needs, this position might be for you!

As a Relocation Experience Coordinator at Sinistar, you will play a key role in our exponential growth. We are looking for someone eager for new challenges, brimming with energy to take charge and manage relocation cases. As the first point of contact for displaced families, you will guide them through their entire relocation process. You'll work within a young, talented team where bold ideas and innovative approaches are encouraged.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist displaced policyholders throughout their relocation, managing cases comprehensively from A to Z.
  • Proactively manage each case like a client relationship — you’ll lead, coordinate, and follow up.
  • Handle multiple cases at once while ensuring empathy and results in every interaction.
  • Maintain regular communication with hosts to ensure relocations run smoothly.
  • Deliver exceptional service to those affected.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters.
  • Effectively manage issues and challenges that arise in case management, proposing quick and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the relocation team to achieve set goals.
  • Represent Sinistar at insurance industry events.

Our Ideal Candidate :

  • Has 3+ years of experience in roles like claims adjuster, insurance support, customer success, account management, or sales .
  • Is a strong communicator (verbal & written) - you know how to explain clearly, manage expectations, and handle delicate situations.
  • Is fluent in French and English - Both are required to support our clients across Canada.
  • Thrives in fast-moving, people-first environments.
  • Brings empathy to client interactions but also knows how to take charge and find solutions quickly.
  • Works well under pressure, especially when people are counting on you.
  • Is based in Canada (preferably Quebec), and comfortable working fully remotely.

Experience in insurance or claims handling is a strong asset, but we’re also open to people from sales or service backgrounds who’ve worked directly with clients in sensitive situations.

Benefits of Working with Us :

  • 100% telecommuting, with some face-to-face meetings.
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
  • Great flexibility in work organization.
  • A collaborative work environment where your expertise is valued.
  • Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.
