This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for accurately receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions. Ensure adequate inventory levels, counsel patients with proper documentation, and engage positively with internal and external customers. Also, promote awareness and educate through public relations activities.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements.
• Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, proactive manner.
• Create awareness and educate customers through public health initiatives.
• Provide timely resolutions to patient needs and doctor requests/issues.
• Review and control costs within the pharmacy.
• Provide ongoing training for pharmacy colleagues, including technicians, interns, students, and IPGs.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license.
• Superior customer relations skills and professionalism.
• Excellent leadership and performance management abilities.
• Proven ability to grow the business via community marketing strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills with experience in developing and executing action plans.
• Personal computing skills; knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems is an asset.
