Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Relief Pharmacist in Moncton, NB to assist the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in daily operations and to ensure excellent patient service.

You will accept prescriptions, counsel patients, and maintain regulatory compliance while traveling to multiple store locations as required by the relief schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold Pharmacist license and be eligible to practise in Canada.
• Ability to counsel patients and manage prescriptions.
• Willingness to travel between locations under the relief program.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in daily operations.
• Accept prescriptions/refill requests from customers, doctors or hospitals.
• Counsel patients on medications and ensure safe, accurate dispensing.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products and privacy of patient data.

Position Summary...The Relief Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager and the Staff Pharmacist in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations.What you'll do...Ensure excellent patient experience, locate merchandise on the sales floor.Establish and develop a strong working relationship with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from Customers, Doctors or Hospitals.Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using the established workflow models and counsel all patients on sold pharmaceutical products.Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.Execute processes as per OBWs/SOPs.Ability to operate all equipment in the pharmacy (register, computer system etc.). Protect and maintain patient privacy at all times and follow provincial regulations established by the regulatory body. Ensure patients receive all eligible services they are entitled to (medication reviews, injections etc.) to meet specific patient needs. Must follow OBW regulations as per the Relief Pharmacist program. Must travel to various locations and follow the schedules set by the Relief program coordinator. Develop and establish a collaborative relationships with other health care providers within the store (clinics, Vision Centre, their community etc.)The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $64.50/hr.
