Job summary

Swan Valley Lodge in Creston, BC, invites applications for a part-time Recreation Therapy Worker | Bus Driver. You will join an interdisciplinary team to deliver recreation programs that support physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual well-being of residents.

You will lead individual and group activities, accompany residents on community outings, assist with set-up and transport, and help decorate for events while monitoring participation and communicating needs to the team.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized recreation course(s) plus two years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 4 vehicle license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group recreation activities to support residents' well-being.
• Accompany residents on community outings and ensure safety.
• Assist with program set-up, transportation, and portering; help decorate for events.
