Job description

Our customer, a major oil and gas producer, is looking for a contract Gas Plant Operator for their facility located near Estevan, Saskatchewan. This will be a temporary position lasting 3-6 months with possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be reporting to the production foreman and will be working on an 8/6 schedule with 10-hour shifts and be available to be on-call while on shift. Candidates from the area are encouraged to apply but accommodations may be provided.

We are looking for candidates with the following:

1. Minimum of 3 year's gas plant operating experience. Preference given to candidates who have worked with sour gas and amine sweetening process.
2. Experience with outages and turnarounds.
3. 4^th class Power Engineering considered an asset but not required.
4. Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
5. Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
6. H2S Alive ticket, Standard First Aid ticket.
7. A disciplined work ethic.
