A regional health authority is seeking a Relief Full Time Clinical Supervisor, Occupational Therapy, to oversee the Rehabilitation team in Surrey, B.C. Candidates should have three years of occupational therapy experience and a full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC. The role includes supervising staff, developing clinical practices, and collaborating on patient care standards. Qualifications

• Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
• Three years of relevant occupational therapy experience including one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day occupational therapy activities to meet operational requirements.
• Plan and coordinate staff training and orientation.
• Provide clinical advice and guidance to staff.
• Develop and maintain clinical practice manuals and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of operating and capital budgets.

Skills

Knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice

Ability to supervise and evaluate performance

Effective communication skills

Ability to teach and coordinate education

Knowledge of standardized tests and techniques

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
