Job description

Summary:

We are seeking a part-time accountant to work approximately 12-15 hours per week. This position is ideal for new or recent graduates in accounting or related business fields, offering valuable experience across various business functions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Reconciling daily accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and internal controls.
• Counting cash, preparing deposits, and tracking inventory across the property.
• Coding payable invoices and collecting accounts receivable.
• Preparing management reports on employee payroll and maintaining employee files.
• Compiling daily revenue and payroll reports for hotel and corporate management.
• Reconciling Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) revenues according to company procedures and regulations.
• Ensuring accuracy in VLT cash handling and reporting, and resolving discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications:

• Business or Accounting Certificate or Diploma.
