Job summary

FedEx Logistics Canada in Whitby, ON, is seeking a casual courier to provide courteous pick‑up and delivery on an assigned route and to ensure accurate documentation and service standards are met.

The role requires a valid G license, ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs with equipment, and flexibility to work at least 8 shifts per month. Pay is $24 per hour, with shift start times at 8:30am, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• 1 year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Able to lift 70 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Must complete mandatory driver assessment training.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery on an assigned route.
• Inspect shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada service features and report stop counts/missorts.
• Load, unload, sort, and scan packages as workload dictates; ensure security of packages/equipment.
• Operate tracking/dispatch systems and provide up-to-date information to customers.
• Answer customer questions about FedEx services and keep customers informed.
