The role includes vehicle inspections, on-time deliveries, accurate record keeping, and excellent customer service while adhering to company policies and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading/unloading, following safe driving practices, and maintaining professional customer interactions across routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Experience in driving, delivery, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) or more as required.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Forklift certification is an asset (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles requiring a valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Pick up and deliver products, materials, or equipment to customers and company locations.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and securely.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Maintain delivery records, logbooks, and proof of delivery documentation.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
