The Junior Reliability Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the reliability and efficiency of equipment and industrial processes. Their role is to help our clients optimize their operations by improving the reliability of their equipment and their operational efficiency. This position involves collecting and analyzing equipment data, participating in the development of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and contributing to root cause analysis of equipment failures.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Preventive and Predictive Maintenance

Develop and optimize planned maintenance strategies using a failure mode-based methodology, such as Planned Maintenance Optimization (PMO) or Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Review equipment documentation and extract all relevant maintenance-related information.

Physically visit equipment to identify all components, ensure understanding of all machine functions, and identify potential failure modes.

Extract important information from client software (CMMS, process historian, etc.).

Computerized Maintenance Management

Build or optimize asset hierarchies based on documentation or equipment inventories.

Create new parts with standardized, complete descriptions.

Client Support (on-site, during shutdowns and planning)

Identify areas for improvement and communicate them to the supervisor or project manager.

Plan weekly or monthly maintenance activities for process and infrastructure equipment.

Act as a technical expert on best installation and maintenance practices.

Diagnose and respond to emergencies in the event of equipment breakdowns.

WORK LOCATION:Provinces of Quebec and Atlantic Canada

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

Bachelor’s or College diploma (BAC or DEC) in a relevant field

Knowledge of reliability concepts and methodologies

Intermediate proficiency with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) software

Principles and practices of preventive maintenance

Relevant professional experience

Strong interpersonal skills

Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)

Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Knowledge of CMMS systems such as Maximo, SAP, etc.

Willingness to travel regularly to client sites

Availability for assignments outside Quebec
