Job summary

Thales Canada is seeking an AJISS Reliability Specialist to lead Life Cycle Costing and reliability analyses supporting the engineering change process. Strong data analysis and reporting discipline are essential.

The role requires experience in marine environments, FRACAS/ReliaSoft, and a clear understanding of regulatory and security requirements. This hybrid position may involve working from Kanata-Ottawa, Halifax, NS or Victoria, BC, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in engineering or related field.
• xFRACAS/ReliaSoft experience required.
• 5 years in a marine or related environment.
• Proven reliability engineering experience.
• English language essential; French desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform Life Cycle Costing analyses to assess economic impact of engineering changes.
• Calculate failure rates and conduct reliability modeling to improve system performance.
• Support engineering change management with detailed reliability assessments and recommendations.
• Collaborate with design, quality assurance and manufacturing to meet reliability objectives.
• Analyze failure data to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
