Reports to : Director continuous improvement and technical services

Salary range : To be discussed, depending on experience

Join our team as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, where you will collaborate with the Director of Continuous Improvement and Technical Services to enhance operational efficiency through the implementation and refinement of processes. You will leverage your expertise to diagnose mechanical issues, propose effective solutions, and lead projects aimed at optimizing production.

YOUR ROLE AS THE RELIABILITY ENGINEER :

Reporting to the Director of Continuous Improvement and Technical Services, the Reliability Engineer is responsible for creating, implementing and improving operational processes. He / she works to identify and resolve bottlenecks with the aim of making production more efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient and safe management of worksites, including the management of contractors.
  • Apply and respect safety rules.
  • Integrate health and safety rules into solutions and implement the necessary measures.
  • Ensure that internal staff understand the issues involved.
  • Facilitate problem-solving using the standard approach.
  • Make mechanical diagnoses and suggest solutions accordingly.
  • Develop and present to stakeholders a project plan to resolve identified problems.
  • Guide the project team to ensure it is delivered on time, on budget and on target.
  • Participate on a daily basis in improving the efficiency of the production line.
  • Monitor and stay ahead of technological advances.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
  • Member of the OIQ.
  • Advanced knowledge of French and English (written and spoken).
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • High mechanical aptitude.
  • Results-oriented.
