An environmental management company is seeking a Reliability Engineer in Metro Vancouver. The role focuses on capital projects and reliability improvements at a Waste to Energy Facility. Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering, over 5 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with maintenance strategies. This full-time position offers a salary range of $80,000-$120,000 and a competitive benefits package.

The Reliability Engineer will support and lead capital projects, maintenance, and reliability improvement initiatives at the Metro Vancouver Waste to Energy Facility.
A strong focus is required on improving plant and plant equipment conditions through the capital works program and through pre-defined maintenance and asset management strategies as well as thorough analysis techniques.
A key objective of this position is to improve safety, reliability, and plant uptime by applying the most cost-effective maintenance strategies using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), preventing recurring failures using Root Cause Analysis, and optimizing other processes related to maintaining these sites.

Working Environment:
A permanent, full-time position is being offered, with a working schedule from Monday to Friday. The primary shift is during the day, starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
The plant operates 24/7, and the selected candidate must be available to work evenings and weekends if required to meet operational needs or for emergency shutdown projects.
Must be able to work in a power plant environment, including exposure to noise, heat, and industrial hazards
Salary Range:
$80,000- $120,000 +eligible for company annual bonus program
