Job description

What is the opportunity? This role focuses on professional relationship management and delivering top-tier financial advice, aligning sales, products, risk policy, and market strategies to deliver solutions tailored for individual needs. As a key member of a Client Relationship Team, your collaborative and client-centric approach enables you to coordinate with multiple partners, resulting in an exceptional client experience. Your solution-development skills, combined with your business development and client service expertise, set the stage for success.

What will you do?
  1. Apply your business development experience for prospecting and lead generation to new and existing clients.
  2. Provide an exceptional client experience by delivering superior business and financial advice within a Client Relationship Team model.
  3. Collaborate with a team of expert advisors to create and execute tailored client contact strategies.
  4. Demonstrate portfolio management and risk mitigation through financial statement reviews, trend analysis, risk monitoring, and credit restructuring assessments.
  5. Leverage RBC's expertise by identifying referral opportunities and making appropriate introductions to RBC partners.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
  • Deep client-centricity, business development, and relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Skills in acquiring new clients, including pitching value propositions, lead generation, cold calling, and asking for referrals.
  • Experience with emerging communication technologies such as web meetings, social media, Digital Banking, and Mobile Applications.

This role requires fluency in French to serve RBC’s French-speaking customers.

Nice-to-have
  • Credit skills, including risk assessment, financial analysis, credit structuring, and deal presentation.
