Morgan Stanley at Work & Digital Solutions is a division within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, comprising Retirement Plan Solutions, Financial Wellness, and the Digital Solutions team that drives and defines the digital and online experience for wealth management and corporate clients.

The Relationship Manager (RM) position is responsible for managing the equity compensation relationship within the Corporate Equity Solutions (CES) group. The RM partners with the company's key administrative contacts, such as Stock Plan managers and analysts, and must have a strong working knowledge of the plan and its setup within the Shareworks platform. The role involves ensuring high-quality service delivery for the corporate stock plan and maximizing the use of all service components to enhance efficiency.

Service delivery extends beyond primary contacts to include individuals in human resources, benefits, compensation, and finance departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, proven problem-solving abilities, a solid understanding of equity compensation and ESPP plans, and an appreciation for the challenges faced by administrators today.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Conduct reviews with clients to share product trends, enhancements, and detailed plan statistics to update on plan health.
  2. Maintain regular contact with clients to foster strong relationships.
  3. Monitor client satisfaction through benchmarks and direct inquiries.
  4. Promote best practices and industry insights to improve service and execution.
  5. Align client requests with business needs while maintaining positive relationships.
  6. Coordinate new projects, track open items, and ensure client satisfaction and remediation.
  7. Engage with Shareworks support teams to ensure awareness of plan rules and key events.
  8. Communicate openly about plan events, issues, or key impacts on strategic plans.
  9. Stay informed about industry and product developments through webinars and forums, sharing relevant insights with clients.
  10. Collaborate professionally with colleagues, especially during high-volume periods.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

  • Strong communication skills in both English and French (oral and written).
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Business, Commerce, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years in B2B relationship management, client services, sales, or similar roles.
  • Deep understanding of executive compensation, stock plans, and ESPP industries.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak times.
  • Capability to present and justify decisions to management.
  • Strong problem identification and communication skills.
  • Experience in leading meetings and speaking publicly.
  • Certifications such as CEP, CSC, and experience with Shareworks are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.

All positions are based in Montreal, Quebec, with a hybrid work environment. Knowledge of both French and English is required.
