Qualifications

Arcadia Home Care is presently hiring for the job of Rehabilitation Support Worker, which will be located in Toronto. Details are provided below.

Job Type : Part-time and Full-time

• Develop and implement rehab plans for clients depending on the goals
• Collaborate with clients and other healthcare professionals
• Document observations related to behavioral and cognitive limitations
• Educational support in and outside of traditional educational environments
• Assist in activities of daily living skills
• Recreation therapy
• Provide in-home services
• The support worker will drive clients to various appointments, meetings, community outings, grocery shopping, or other various activities.

Qualifications

University degree / College degree : behavioral and social services, communication disorders, and therapeutic recreation field.

Ideally performed : Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, Kinesiologist and Developmental Service Worker, Child and Youth Worker, and Social Service Worker.

Excellent communicator (written and verbal) time management and documentation

CPR and First Aid

Have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license is required for the job (OCF-6A).
