Your Contribution

As a Rehabilitation Equipment Product Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring professional sales relations and solutions with private clients, government authorized therapists, and funding agencies. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing a specific sales territory.
  2. Advising clients and therapists on our selection of mobility, seating, positioning, accessibility equipment, and home care supplies.
  3. Collaborating with occupational and physical therapists to develop and implement appropriate plans for clients' mobility and seating needs.
  4. Demonstrating products and services to existing and potential customers, assisting them in selecting the best options for their needs.
  5. Establishing and maintaining positive, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships.
  6. Forecasting and influencing stock levels based on field data, in coordination with the supply chain.
  7. Controlling and monitoring inventory of trial equipment used during client assessments.
  8. Coordinating with internal sales and support teams to provide efficient service and positive outcomes.
  9. Traveling to various facilities to provide services and attend training as needed.
  10. Registering equipment, processing paperwork (quotes, prior approval documents), and providing billing codes for AADL billing purposes.
  11. Protecting company assets.

Your Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Kinesiology preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Product Consultant for Rehabilitation Equipment, including seating expertise.
  • Current manufacturer certifications (e.g., Sunrise Medical, Pride Mobility, Invacare, Permobil, Humancare, Arjo Huntleigh, etc.).
  • Knowledge of AADL requirements.
  • Experience with Windward POS system is an asset.
  • Strong process management and understanding of market and client needs.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Patience, compassion, and excellent listening skills.
  • Clear communication and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management and flexibility.
  • Client-focused approach, willing to go above and beyond.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and Office 365.
  • Clean criminal record.
