We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Relief Full-Time – Rehabilitation Assistant - Nursing, OT, PT to join our team at Chilliwack General Hospital located in beautiful Chilliwack, B.C.
Chilliwack General Hospital (CGH) is a University of British Columbia affiliated community hospital, whose role is to provide primary, core secondary, and some specialty services. These include services such as 24/7 emergency and acute care, general and internal medicine, cardiac care, obstetrics, general surgery and certain surgical subspecialties, inpatient and outpatient care. Chilliwack General Hospital provides inpatient psychiatric care for adults along with outpatient detox for adults with substance use issues.

In accordance with the Mission and Values of Fraser Health, the Rehabilitation Assistant works under the direction of a professional nurse (Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist in cooperation with the interprofessional care team, and following established care plans and person-centered care. The Rehabilitation Assistant implements treatment plans under an assignment of task by PT or OT, or under the direction of nursing, and assists in monitoring patient progress through observation and reporting to appropriate team member.
Education and Experience
Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
