Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to support the Mobility Team in the Provincial Mobilization program. This role focuses on early mobilization for inpatients and coordination with the frailty pathway to enhance mobility and overall care plans.
The successful candidate will complete a Rehabilitation Assistant Program, hold BCLS, and work closely with patients, families, and healthcare staff within the Northern Zone at Colchester East Hants Health Centre.

Reporting to the Health Services Manager and under the supervision of the NZ Frailty Coordinator, the Rehabilitation Assistant is a member of the health care team, providing support to clients and families through the Provincial Frailty and Mobilization program to support early mobilization of clients. Rehabilitation Assistants within the mobility teams will provide early mobilization interventions to individuals in hospital care setting related to the client’s mobility needs, Clinical Frailty Score and overall plan of care. Rehabilitation Assistants practice inadherence to practice standards and scope of employment.

$25.84 - $30.85 Hourly
