Regulatory Response and Risk Support Lead

Job Title: Regulatory Response and Risk Support Lead
Location: Montreal ( day 1 onboarding / in-office requirement 3x/week)
Years of experience: 5-7
Contract : 12+ Months with Possible extension


Role Responsibilities:
The ETS Risk organization is seeking a Regulatory Response and Risk Support Lead to assist in the program management of the Division’s regulatory initiatives and related risk mitigation work.

Key responsibilities include:
• Partnering with ETS Super Departments, assisting in the coordination, monitoring and tracking of Divisional supervisory inquiries and exams
• Work as part of the broader ETS Risk team to identify and gather intelligence of the impact of proposed as well as legislated regulations
• Ensure documentation requirements are met, follow-up on outstanding actions, and manage centralized repository for requests
• Coordinate with subject matter experts or risk officers to ensure that complex topics are correctly addressed, discussed, and documented
• Manages status reporting and communication across programs, including regulatory dashboards, and assist with regular communication and status reporting to ETS management
• Assist in addressing day-to-day requests of the ETS Risk function, including Line of Defense (LOD) testing coordination, assisting key ETS Risk programs, and helping to deliver risk agenda remediation work
• Execute against ETS Risk portfolio of work in partnership with a broad group of internal stakeholders
• Produce accurate and concise materials for risk assessment and evaluation purposes by internal and external parties
• Ensure commitments made to all lines of defense are performed, and evidence adequately captured and documented

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to Qualify for Position)
• Program management or regulatory experience with a track record of success
• Ideally within the financial services sector, or other highly regulated sector
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus within dynamic teams, including technical specialists
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English) targeted to senior management and/or to C-suite level executives; ability to present subject matters at both a broad and detailed level
• High level of attention to detail and ability to present complex material in a succinct and concise way
• Demonstrate good time management, ability to prioritize tasks and to meet deadlines across multiple deliverables
• Experience in providing updates to multiple levels of stakeholders in a clear, concise and transparent fashion
• Solid PowerPoint and Excel skills; Jira and/or SharePoint experience preferred but not required
• Strong team player with a high level of commitment; eager to learn new processes and/or technologies to better support the role
