Job summary

Pembina Hills School Division invites applications for the position of a Regulation Coach to provide intensive intervention to support the inclusion of students with complex disabilities.

The successful candidate will provide support to a small group of select students with complex needs (including trauma), which may include the application of a variety of rehabilitation interventions. This position is based out of Barrhead Elementary and commences as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in Therapy Assistant, Rehabilitation or a related field.
• Experience working with children with regulation and learning challenges.
• Experience working with children with disabilities (autism, trauma disorders, FASD).
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive intervention to support the inclusion of students with complex disabilities.
• Support a small group of select students with complex needs (including trauma).
• Apply a variety of rehabilitation interventions as part of student support.
• Provide school support and perform other related duties as required.

This position will be based out of Barrhead Elementary and commences as soon as possible. Hours of work will be 5 days/week at 6.25 hours/day following the school calendar.
