Regulated Pharmacy Technician

Our focus is on delivering optimal patient care using semi-private counselling booths, counselling rooms, advanced robotic dispensing technology, monthly clinical programs, and a cooperative team of pharmacists, regulated pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants. Regulated Pharmacy Technicians have opportunities to participate in roles including Travel Medicine, INR monitoring, CDE, and Long-term care. You will assist the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include customer service, handling telephone inquiries, general housekeeping, operating pharmacy computer systems, processing and preparing prescriptions, managing drug orders, and overseeing inventory. If you seek a challenging retail pharmacy position and possess professionalism, dedication, and a drive to excel, London Drugs is the place for you.

Regulated pharmacy technicians must have completed all required national and provincial programs and passed the exams. Registration with the respective College of Pharmacy in the province of employment is mandatory.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Registration with the College of Pharmacists (in the province of employment)
  • Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with clients, staff, and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A self-starter attitude with enthusiasm
  • Ability to relate to customers and understand their needs
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Teamwork skills and a collaborative approach
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience preferred
