Job summary

London Drugs is hiring a Regulated Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and providing outstanding customer service.

The role requires completion of national and provincial Regulated Pharmacy Technician programs and registration with the provincial College of Pharmacy, along with strong communication, teamwork and computer skills to maintain accuracy and safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of all required national and provincial Regulated Pharmacy technician programs.
• Regulated Technicians must also be registered with the respective College of Pharmacy in the province of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations of the pharmacy department.
• Provide customer service and process prescriptions.
• Dispense medications and manage inventory.
• Perform scheduled pharmacy procedures and front counter duties.
• Answer telephone and perform cashiering tasks.

Regulated Pharmacy Technician

This position is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the pharmacy department including providing customer service, processing prescriptions, dispensing of medications, inventory management, performing scheduled pharmacy procedures, servicing the front counter, cashiering duties, telephone answering and general housekeeping and maintenance.

Regulated Pharmacy technicians must have completed all required national and provincial Regulated Pharmacy Technician programs and passed the exams. Regulated Pharmacy Technicians must also be registered with the respective College of Pharmacy in the province of employment.

• Successful completion of all required national and provincial Regulated Pharmacy technician programs
