Job summary
Save-On-Foods in Nanaimo, BC is hiring a Regulated Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. You will receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions, transfer prescriptions between pharmacies, and ensure accuracy and authenticity of each order.
You will supervise assistants and support both dispensary and front-store operations while delivering Excellent customer service. Licensed technicians in good standing will perform dispensing tasks, conduct final checks, and comply with company
Qualifications
- Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists.
- Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience would be an asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners.
- Transferring prescriptions to and from other pharmacies.
- Ensuring prescriptions are complete and authentic.
- Performing the final check and all technical dispensing functions.
- Supporting dispensary and front store (OTC) operations.
- Providing exceptional customer service as Always Customer First.
- Observing policies, procedures and merchandising programs.
