Job summary

Synechron in Toronto is seeking a Quality Assurance engineer focused on regression testing and test automation to join our AI-focused FinLabs team. You will collaborate with cross-functional squads, integrate testing frameworks with AI and GenAI models, and ensure releases meet quality metrics for banking clients.

Responsibilities include executing test plans, identifying defects, and advancing automation strategies using Selenium and Playwright.

Qualifications

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto , ON is CAD $100k – CAD $110k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Requirements:

• Proven experience in regression testing and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Knowledge of AI and GenAI technologies and their application in testing.
• Familiarity with banking domain processes and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
• Certification in Testing.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization.
