Registrations Coordinator

CPA Ontario is seeking a Registrations Coordinator who will be responsible for the assessment and review of CPA student registration, re‑registration, and admission to membership applications. This position is responsible for data updating and data accuracy, along with the timely and efficient processing of documents – primarily digital and electronic formats. It also involves corresponding and following up with students by email and phone for outstanding or missing documentation. This role provides student advisory services within a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment that fosters customer service excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Reviewing and processing applications for student registration, re‑registration, and admission ensuring eligibility requirements are met and that all mandatory requirements are fulfilled.
  • Corresponding and following up with students regarding outstanding required or missing documentation including timeline extension requests or re‑registration; where dues or fees may be required or there are incomplete application submissions.
  • Providing ‘tier 2’ support and guidance for student registration, re‑registration, timeline extension, admission to membership and documentation submission inquiries and assisting students through these processes while ensuring a premium student experience.
  • Ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and records by completing ongoing data updates and maintenance of student records.
Who You Are:
  • A post‑secondary graduate with a degree or diploma in Business or another related discipline.
  • Experienced in a related field such as academic, membership, regulatory or professional services combined with knowledge of complex bylaws, policies and procedures.
  • Experienced with administration and customer service with strong organization, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage data accurately for record‑keeping.
  • Technically savvy and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and OneNote); prior experience with Salesforce and Power BI are preferred.
  • A strong communicator (verbal and written) with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to deal with individuals and situations with tact, discretion and diplomacy using sound judgement and discretion as when issues should be escalated.
  • Able to prioritize, multi‑task and work well under pressure with high volumes of applications and accountability for meeting deadlines.
  • Self‑motivated, flexible, with the ability to work as part of the team and autonomously.
