Join our compassionate and collaborative team as a Registration-Switchboard Clerk at the Squamish General Hospital. In this essential frontline role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors—setting the tone for their health care experience and ensuring smooth administrative and communication processes.
As a Registration Clerk, you will perform various registration and switchboard functions, such as registering patients for emergency services and diagnostic procedures in the computerized admission/discharge/transfer system. You will process admissions, transfers, and discharges, operate the computerized telephone exchange, locate personnel through pagers, answering services, and public address systems, respond to emergencies, and perform reception, records management, and other clerical duties as required.
