The Opportunity

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Registration and Scheduling Clerk’s primary responsibilities include patient booking/scheduling and registration. Additional duties may include answering inquiries, preparing reports, attending meetings, maintaining patient records, managing mail, providing customer service, scheduling appointments via Meditech, and managing supplies.

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday, with some evenings as required.

Your Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Graduate from a recognized office administration diploma program preferred.
  • Previous healthcare experience is an asset.
  • Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills required; testing may be conducted.
  • Basic knowledge of computer programs, including email and MS Word, required.
  • Knowledge of office equipment required; testing may be conducted.
  • Strong time management, analytical, problem-solving, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, work independently, and maintain confidentiality required.
  • Experience in patient scheduling/booking and Community Wide Scheduling (CWS) is an asset.
  • Additional language skills are an asset.
