Join to apply for the Registrar Liaison Officer (RLO) Northern Territory role at Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM)

This is an excellent opportunity to extend your professional development within ACRRM. The role is paid and counts towards training.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Northern Territory Training Network Coordinator (TNC), the incumbent will act as an intermediary between GP Registrars and the Northern Territory ACRRM team. The role involves interaction with regional training stakeholders influencing GP training.

The RLO advocates for and represents GP registrars at their training post management level, supports pastoral care, and assists with transitions in and out of training posts.

Ideal Candidate
  • Possesses advanced communication skills and analytical abilities to support Registrar advocacy, strategic partnerships, governance, risk management, operational excellence, and educational representation.
  • Participates in regional orientations and face-to-face workshops.
Qualifications and Skills
  • MB BS, B.Med. (or equivalent)
  • Enrolled GP Registrar with ACRRM
  • Excellent interpersonal, liaison, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, analysis, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
  • Intermediate or better Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of Australian General Practice Training (AGPT), ACRRM Training Standards, NTCER, and related policies (training provided during orientation)
Other Requirements
  • Unrestricted motor vehicle license and willingness to travel
  • Current medical indemnity insurance
