Job Overview:

Responsible for entering patient data into the State of NJ Birth Registration database with a high level of accuracy. Maintain communication with consortium and state departments providing statistics.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Some college preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Data entry experience
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day Shift
  • Rotating weekends and holidays
  • Part-Time

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates the birth registry to meet NJ State Department of Health and Senior services regulations
  • Assists family to accurately complete required documents
  • Input/Transmits information to NJ Electronic Birth registry
  • Collaborates with Central Jersey Family Health consortium
  • Attends all annual training programs
