Job summary

Sherwood Veterinary Clinic in Alberta is seeking a compassionate Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join a collaborative, fast-paced team. You’ll perform anesthesia, surgery support, patient nursing, diagnostics, and client education while maintaining high standards of care.

You’ll work with a supportive team, have opportunities to lead on shift as the primary RVT, and enjoy a schedule including evenings and weekends in a clinic that values growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered RVT in Alberta.
• Strong anesthesia skills and technical proficiency.
• Ability to work independently when needed.
• Excellent communication and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Use the full scope of RVT skills, including anesthesia and surgery.
• Provide patient nursing, diagnostics, and client education.
• Lead as primary RVT on shift when assigned.

At Sherwood Veterinary Clinic, RVTs are an essential part of the team. We're looking for a compassionate and confident Registered Veterinary Technologist who enjoys a collaborative, fast-paced environment where every day brings something new.

You’ll have the opportunity to use the full scope of your skills, from anesthesia and surgery to patient nursing, diagnostics, client education, and everything in between.

You'll be part of a supportive team, with the opportunity to work independently and take the lead when you're the primary RVT on shift.

What We're Looking For

• Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) in Alberta
• Strong technical and anesthesia skills
• Comfortable working independently when needed
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts
• Flexibility to work a mix of 6, 8, and 10 hour shifts
