Job description

Calgary Trail Animal Hospital is welcoming a Veterinary Technologist, RVT to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training!

Have you completed a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program? Preparing to write your VTNE? We can help!

We welcome new graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy. We love growing new graduates!

Responsibilities include surgical preparation, assisting, and patient recovery.

You should be able to keep detailed and accurate patient records.

Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents.

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ask clarifying questions to find solutions.

Exceptional interpersonal skills for working with colleagues and pet parents.

A passion to learn more within the role.
