VetStrategy is hiring an RVT for WAVES, a West Shore (Vancouver Island) emergency and specialty hospital. You’ll join 11 ER veterinarians and 13 ER RVTs, delivering high-quality care in a dynamic, supportive team.

Relocation support is available for the right candidate, and you’ll have access to VetStrategy’s national RVT network, generous discounts, and ongoing CE opportunities. Relocation benefits and a collaborative culture are emphasized.

Formación

• AHT/VT diploma required or equivalent.
• Registration as an RVT in British Columbia or eligibility.
• Passion for veterinary medicine with high-quality patient care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive, engaged approach and compassion for clients.
• Willingness to learn and continue developing clinical skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a busy emergency and specialty environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality emergency and specialty patient care.
• Work as a trusted member of the clinical team using full RVT scope.
• Experience exposure to emergency/critical care, neurology, internal medicine, imaging, and surgery.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and RVTs in a supportive environment.

Hourly wage: $31–$37/hour + relocation support

Located on the West Shore of Vancouver Island, WAVES is a 9,700 sq. ft. referral hospital with an experienced team, advanced equipment, and a wide variety of emergency and specialty cases. You’ll work alongside 11 ER veterinarians and 13 ER RVTs, gaining valuable experience while being supported by a collaborative team.

The Opportunity

As an RVT at WAVES, you’ll play an important role in providing high-quality emergency and specialty patient care. Our RVTs are trusted members of the clinical team and are encouraged to use their full scope of skills.

You’ll have exposure to a diverse range of cases and specialty services, including:

• Emergency and critical care
• Neurology
• Internal medicine
• Diagnostic imaging
• Surgery
• Complex and referral cases

You’ll work closely with experienced veterinarians and RVTs in a supportive environment where teamwork, communication, and continued learning are valued.
