Job description

Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT Location: Vancouver, BC

Yaletown Animal Hospital is welcoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our dynamic and growing practice!

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be a Registered Animal Health Technician or equivalent, preferably with at least 1 year of clinical experience, but will consider a new grad with exceptional work ethic.

  • A strong knowledge of anesthesia, dentistry, surgery support, patient care, critical care, and other veterinary technician skills are a must.

  • You will be joining a team of 18 trained technical staff and 7 doctors to provide a very high standard of veterinary care to a wide variety of cats and dogs.

  • The shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week based on the clinic's needs--which may include one weekend shift.

  • Schedules are posted at minimum 2-weeks and at maximum 2-months in advance, giving you the flexibility to swap shifts with other technicians.
