Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Communicate compassionately and professionally with clients and team members using effective oral and written skills
  2. Administer and analyze diagnostic tests (hematology, chemistry, cytology, urinalysis, etc.) with appropriate equipment and techniques
  3. Assist Veterinarian with surgical and therapeutic procedures, ensuring aseptic standards and protocols
  4. Administer and monitor anesthesia and analgesia within your scope of practice and legal regulations
  5. Provide veterinary nursing care ethically, incorporating veterinary theory, principles, and Fear Free techniques
  6. Maintain accurate veterinary medical records following regulated procedures
  7. Operate and maintain veterinary equipment according to safety standards
  8. Capture and evaluate diagnostic images with proper knowledge and techniques
  9. Perform dental procedures adhering to industry standards and understanding dental health
  10. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  11. Maintain inventory of medical supplies as per clinic procedures
  12. Support a collaborative work environment and assist colleagues as needed
Education
  • Diploma in Veterinary Technician/Technologist
