Spring Lodge Veterinary Group is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our large, friendly team. The role involves all aspects of nursing, including consultations, theatre, inpatient care, lab work, and radiography. Shifts are primarily at our RCVS-accredited hospital in Witham, with regular coverage at our five local branch practices as needed.

Rota patterns that work for you
This is a full-time position, 40 hours weekly. Shift patterns vary from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. There is a 1:7 Saturday morning rota between the Witham hospital and Beaulieu Square branch. A shared OOH weekend rota is paid as extra.
We are a RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in Witham, Essex, with five other accredited branches nearby. The hospital features a full in-house lab, separate wards for isolation, cats, and dogs, and a dedicated orthopaedic theatre. We have digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopes, and laparoscopic equipment. Our clinics are recognized as ISFM Cat Friendly, RWAF Rabbit Friendly, and a fear-free clinic.
The main hospital is accessible by main line train to London and is within driving distance of the East Coast. We enjoy a mix of countryside and town environments, with close proximity to Stansted Airport.
Our team comprises Vets, Nurses, and Support staff with diverse interests who support each other in a busy clinical setting. We promote training and career progression, with many staff pursuing further qualifications. Nurses have significant responsibilities and are involved in all nursing areas. We are committed to supporting the next generation of Vets and Nurses through training and mentorship.
