A leading health care institution in London, Ontario is seeking Registered Technologists for their Medical Imaging department. Successful candidates must hold a current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario and a graduate degree in MRI. The position involves performing MRI procedures and engaging in teaching and research activities. This full-time role offers a salary range of $36.84 to $51.77 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
  • Graduate of a recognized Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.
  • Successful completion of Canadian Certification Exam for MRI.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the full spectrum of MRI procedures.
  • Engage in role-related teaching and research activities.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers effectively.

Essential Qualifications
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario
  • Graduate of a recognized Magnetic Resonance Imaging program
  • Successful completion of Canadian Certification Exam for MRI
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
  • Capable of performing the full spectrum of MRI procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in French would be an asset
  • Two years recent experience as a Registered Technologist
  • Certification to perform injections of contrast material

Immunization Requirements
  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
