Job summary

CBI Health is seeking a Registered Psychologist for the Calgary Central Clinic to contribute to occupational rehabilitation, injury management, chronic pain, brain injury and mental health programs. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to assess, treat and monitor client progress, while supporting discharge planning and functional independence.

Applicants must be a psychology graduate, in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists, and eager to develop expertise in

Qualifications

  • You are a graduate of a recognized School of Psychology.
  • You are registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists in good standing.
  • You have experience or strong interest in occupational rehabilitation.
  • You are familiar with health and psychosocial models of interdisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

  • Apply psychological expertise in assessment, evaluation and treatment, with progress monitoring and reporting, plus consultation.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on conditions affecting function and discharge planning.
  • Maximize functional independence to improve quality of life for clients.

  • You’ll apply psychological expertise in assessment, evaluation and treatment, as well as monitoring of client progress and reporting, with consultation at the core of your role
  • You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team regarding conditions that impact functional abilities, delivering on psychosocial interventions as well as discharge planning
  • You know the importance of maximizing the functional independence of clients to enhance their quality of life

  • You are experienced in, or have a strong interest in developing expertise in the area of occupational rehabilitation
