Job summary

Shared Health in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking a maternity-term Psychiatric Nurse for the Intensive Treatment Service unit. The role involves delivering direct client care, developing and evaluating treatment plans, and administering medications according to RHPA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in psychiatry is essential.
• Child and Adolescent Mental Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides for the delivery of direct client care.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates client treatment plans.
• Provides therapeutic clinical interventions and effective milieu management.
• Administrates and monitors effects of medications and related health care procedures.
• Collaborates with families and community supports to meet client needs.
• Establishes and maintains professional working relationships within the inter-professional team and community.
• Identifies and accesses community resources.
