Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) - Saint-Denis

Location: Hawkesbury area

Job Type: Various shifts including early morning, afternoon, evening, overnight with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care according to established policies, physician’s orders, and resident care plans within the scope of an RPN.
  • Ensure excellent nursing and personal care in assigned areas.
  • Manage resident admissions, orientations, transfers, and discharges safely and timely.
  • Handle medication supply, control, and safekeeping, following protocols.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Ability to work with persons with infectious diseases.
  • BLS and First Aid & CPR certifications.
  • Proof of immunizations for MMRV, TB test within one year, and Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible shift availability, including 8 or 12-hour shifts.
  • Willingness to float between units as needed.
  • Reliability and adherence to shift acceptance/cancellation policies.
