Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care according to established policies, physician’s orders, and resident care plans within the scope of practice of an RPN.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing and personal care in assigned areas.
  • Manage resident admissions, orientations, transfers, and discharges safely and timely.
  • Oversee medication management, including drugs and narcotics, following protocols.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Ability to work with individuals with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate and current First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Proof of immunizations for MMRV, TB test within one year, and Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible shift availability, including 8 or 12-hour shifts.
  • Willingness to float between units as needed.
  • Reliable and compliant with RhynoCare policies.
Additional Information

Local candidates only; fluency in both English and French required. Shifts include early morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight with consistent hours and a set schedule.
