Job summary

Lion Healthcare seeks a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in Goderich, Ontario. This casual/part-time position offers a pay rate of 37 CAD per hour and supports residents in our partner long-term care homes in the area.

The role involves nursing care, medication administration, health monitoring, and documentation, all while adhering to LTC standards and IPAC guidelines. Strong teamwork and resident-centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have RPN Diploma and be registered with CNO.
• Ontario compliance documents required: VSC, TB test, vaccines, CPR/First Aid, WHMIS, WHSA, IPAC practices.
• Valid government-issued ID and 3 professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents per LTC standards and policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor health status and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Document care and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Support and supervise PSWs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for high-quality resident care.
• Follow IPAC practices to prevent infections.
