Extendicare is seeking Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) for full-time community nursing roles in Oshawa and surrounding areas. You will deliver ethical and safe nursing care during scheduled visits, travel to patient residences, and collaborate with RNs for complex cases, aiming to keep patients comfortable at home.
Requirements include CNO licensure, a valid driver's license and vehicle, Vulnerable Sector Screen, TB test, CPR, and English proficiency.
Job Description 8 full-time positions available Wage Range: $27.96 per hour Travel Locations – Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, Bowmanville, Uxbridge Shift Options– 0800-1600, 0900-1700 , 1200-2000, 1400-2200 and 2300-0700 In this community nursing role, you as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will have scheduled visits within the community to care for patients in various settings with the support of RNs for more complex patients. You will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible.
