POSITION SUMMARY:
The Chest Unit is a 37 bed, acute surgical unit that provides care for a variety of surgical patients. The unit houses the Regional Thoracics Centre for our area, as well as our Head and Neck and the Surgical Stepdown Units (SSDU). Specialty medical and surgical services support patients with newly diagnosed disease including thoracic and head and neck cancer, reconstructive and plastic surgery and, the care of patients with progressive illness. Our 8-bed SSDU provides care for acutely ill surgical patients including those undergoing thoracic, orthopaedic, urology, gynecology, GI and General Surgical procedures. Our highly skilled and dedicated interprofessional team provide patient and family focused care and work to restore and maintain function in a highly collaborative and therapeutic care environment.
WAGE RATE:
Hourly: $35.12 ... $36.64... $38.16 (plus 14% in lieu of benefits)
